With Us
Dive the world with the team that trained you, curated trips, handled end to end.
We Build the Frame,
You Fill the Space
Transport, lodging, and safety are on us. What fills the frame, how fast you move, what you see, how much you rest, is up to you. This is not a tour where you follow someone else’s course. It’s a trip where you design your own ocean.
Our instructors are mostly introverts too. We notice when someone needs quiet. We don’t fill silences. We don’t force participation. We move at the pace you set, and make sure you’re safe while you do.
We build the frame.
You fill the space.
Energy is restored by solitude, not depleted by it. The best diving experience for an introvert isn’t the loudest trip. It’s the one where you actually get to be present.
Our instructors are introverts. Our service is built around introvert needs. This isn’t marketing, it’s just who we are.
Since 2000,
in oceans around the world,
without a single accident
NB Divers is not just a training center. Beyond the East Sea and Jeju, Ulleungdo, nearby Okinawa, the Philippines, Indonesia, even Europe, we have organized dive trips around the world since 2000. Sometimes we team up with crews from other countries; sometimes we join locally. Every one of those journeys, without a single accident. You can trust us with this.

Together
But Each
You’re not alone, you’re just not required to perform. Our trips are group travel without group pressure. You share boats, dive sites, and safety teams. But your time, your pace, and your silence are your own.
Under the water, each diver follows their own curiosity, the one who floats, the one who explores, the one taking photos, the one doing nothing in particular. All of that is valid. All of that is the point.

Escort,
Not Guide
99% of dive operators run on a guide model: a fixed itinerary, a leader you follow, a schedule you keep. We run differently. Our instructors escort, they’re there to keep you safe, not to decide what you experience.
Everything
Considered
The small things matter. Especially when you’ve come a long way to feel at ease.
Domestic trips: hotels, not guesthouses. International trips: one room per person, always, no sharing with strangers. Your space is yours. Tell us your preferences and we’ll match accordingly.
No mandatory group dinners. Eat when you’re ready. On boat days, we share lunch on deck, it’s one of the genuinely good parts. Vegan, halal, dietary restrictions: tell us in advance and it’s handled.
We build dive teams by preference, not just by certification level. You tell us: floater, explorer, photographer, creature-watcher. We group you with people who want the same thing.
On a trip of 10, roughly half are NB Divers staff, instructors, local guides, safety divers. You may not see them all clearly. That’s the point. They’re there so you don’t have to think about safety.
What feels like a big group is actually a carefully staffed expedition.

A Trip
You Design
This is not a trip where you simply follow a set course. It starts with what you want to meet underwater.
Tell us in advance which creatures you want to meet and what terrain you want to see. We match the dive sites and schedule to it.
We design dives around your shooting concept. Light, subjects, timing, we set up the conditions for the shot together.
You don’t have to be on scuba. Freedivers and mermaid divers can join the same trip.
There are social moments, but nothing is forced. What matters is that everyone rests properly and dives in their own style.

Signs You’ll
Love This
If most of these sound familiar, NB Divers travel is probably exactly what you’ve been looking for, but didn’t know existed.
They Were
Nervous Too
I usually hate group travel. Too loud, too scheduled, too much pressure to be “on.” This was the first trip where I came back more rested than I left. I floated underwater for 40 minutes and no one bothered me once.
I told them I was introverted and didn’t want forced activities. They said: us too. That was the whole conversation. The trip was exactly what I needed it to be.
I sat on the boat for an hour just watching the water before the dive. No one asked if I was okay, or if I wanted to join the group. They just let me be. That’s rare.
From Consultation
to Departure
Personalized trips start with a consultation with your instructor. It’s not complicated.
Tell your instructor the destination, diving style, and dates you have in mind.
Based on the consultation, we give you a full trip quote, flights, lodging, and diving, all transparent.
Agree to the quote and we move right away. Departure is confirmed once 3 or more sign up.
Pay easily by credit card or PayPal, and head for the ocean.
Come as
You Are
You don’t need to be social, energetic, or ready to make new friends. You just need to want to be in the ocean. We’ll handle everything else.
Private room included · Dietary needs respected · No pressure, no performance
FAQ
What’s the difference between a PADI certification and a license?
A certification is the official PADI credential issued at recreational levels, from Open Water through Rescue.
A license applies to professional levels such as Divemaster and Instructor, and grants the authority to work in diving professionally.
Dive centers that blur this distinction tend to blur their training standards too. NB Divers follows PADI standards exactly and explains clearly what each level means.
Why does NB Divers use precise PADI terminology?
Using PADI’s standard terms correctly reflects how seriously we take training. When terms get mixed up, students can’t tell exactly where they stand in their education.
It’s the mark of a dive center trusted for the quality of its training, not its price, and it starts with a single word.
I’m nervous about diving with strangers, is that okay?
Completely normal. Many of our guests come solo. We match underwater teams by diving style and preference before the trip, so you’ll be with people who want the same kind of dive you do. And if you’d rather dive with just an instructor, we’ll arrange that.
Do I have to socialize on the trip?
No. There are shared moments, meals on the boat, briefings before dives, but nothing is mandatory. Your evenings, your mornings, and your surface intervals are yours. Time spent alone isn’t just accepted, it’s anticipated and respected.
Will I always have my own room?
Yes. For guests not traveling with family or friends, we always arrange single occupancy. You will not be asked to share with a stranger. If you’d prefer to share to reduce cost, that’s also fine, just let us know.
What if I want to skip a dive and just stay on the boat?
A completely valid choice. There’s no pressure to dive every slot. Sit on deck, read, listen to music, the boat and the view are yours. We’ll let you know when the next dive is ready, and you decide.
What destinations do you offer?
We run scheduled trips to Korea’s East and South Sea coasts year-round, including ice and cold-water diving in winter. International destinations include the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and more, contact us for the current schedule.
Can I join if I’m not yet certified?
Yes. Some trips include a certification track, you can earn your Open Water during the trip itself. Tell us your current level when you enquire and we’ll find the right option.
