Having been a diver for 27 years, I have experienced countless instructors and dive centers. Yet, the only place I can confidently and without a single doubt recommend to my loved ones is ‘NB Divers’. I first met Charlie, the Course Director of NB Divers, back in 2011 as an instructor meeting a director. Since then, we have traveled for overseas diving trips together and have grown as close as siblings. Having watched him closely for all these years, I can say he is someone who always gives his absolute best to the core essence of diving: safety and enjoyment. He is truly one of the diving mentors I respect the most. Because his philosophy on diving is so steadfast and unwavering, the countless instructors and students who trained under him also approach diving with an exceptional mindset. Scuba diving is a leisure activity that is directly linked to human life. That is why whenever my acquaintances ask for an instructor recommendation, I always emphasize that they should look for ‘a place where they can fully trust and entrust their lives,’ rather than simply looking for a cheaper option. Following that exact standard, the place I chose for my husband’s diving education was none other than NB Divers. Even though I am an instructor myself, they say you should never teach driving or scuba diving to your own family (haha). So, when the day comes for my daughter to learn scuba diving, I am going to send her straight to NB Divers without a second thought. To anyone who wants to learn true safety and a proper diving philosophy, I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend NB Divers, putting my 27 years of diving experience on the line.

I completed my AOW with Rena, I had an awesome expirence diving in the korean east sea. First time diving in a dry suit, Rena was a great teacher and made everything super easy. Would recomend to anyone looking to dive in korea

Rena was a terrific instructor for my dry suit diving course. She was very knowledgeable in helping me with techniques to better control buoyancy and manage my equipment during the tests. We had a great time diving in the 8°C water and even found a Nudibranch. I recommend NB divers to anyone diving while in Seoul. Great staff that love to see people have fun diving.

Rena is an incredible instructor! I loved our lessons. She was flexible & willing to work with my schedule. She is super sweet and fun to be around! She is a fantastic teacher & encourages you along the way. She made every lesson super enjoyable. Also, she captured and edited amazing photos and videos of me underwater! Great memories. Highly recommend her for anyone interested in getting scuba certified!!

We had a great fun dive with Rena, our dive master in Yeongjin-ri. The water was quite cold but we rented some 7mm wetsuits from the shop which made it manageable to dive perfectly. She drove us there from the dive shop and also brought snacks on the road. We did not only dive together, but we had lunch at a local korean restaurant with some fellow divers who were also very nice people. After lunch we had some coffee together, got to know each other and as a finishing touch she showed us a nice lookout spot in Hyeonbuk-myeon, where she took pictures of us. She then drove us back to the dive shop. Overall a 10/10 experience, would recommend their services, especially Rena, who is a very talented and experienced dive instructor.
