Korea is surrounded by water on three sides, so you can enjoy diving in various water environments. In Korea, we also have four seasons. It means that even at the same region, you can experience different kind of diving at each season. From subtropical water of Jeju-island to subarctic water of Korean East Sea, and plus, the Ice Diving during the winter, you can have a wide range of choices for the diving adventure!
In Korea, you usually dive in subarctic water. So it is the best to get the proper diving equipment such as dry suit, semi-dry suit, thermal undersuit, hood, gloves, etc. If you prepare the right equipment, you can enjoy just as warm and fun diving as ones you’ve enjoyed in tropical seas.
Especially, during winter, Korean seas give you the most clear visibility and various marine life. And plus, there are not that many divers visiting winter seas, you can enjoy more relaxed and comfortable diving during winter.
Get used to Korean Sea:
Unlike the tropical seas, Korean seas have lower water temperature and visibility. So, prepare yourself not to get panicked when you enter the Korean sea for the first time. After five minutes, you will get used to the environment and be able to enjoy the whole new world!
